March 7, 2010

Sunday and it's another gorgeous day in the mid 50's.  I took a ride up toward Walden pond.  The pond was still iced over but people were walking around it anyways.  I wanted to take this road that leads out of the pond area.  I just had to see where it went to.  It went in the direction of Framingham.  But it was all in the country and so peaceful and calm and just plain nice.  I came upon this farm that had a ton of cars parked and people going in.  So curious me, stopped and went in.  Wow it was a produce lovers delight.  They were selling all kinds of vegetables and fruits, and it all looked scrumptuous.  I bought some Mac apples, cortland apples (which are hard to find), dried kiwi (hmmmm something new to try.) Rasberries, and some bread.  I would like to remember where there place is but when you wander around, it is hard to remember.

Wilson's Farms.  This place was huge.  Below the store was acreas of green houses that maybe people can go in and buy flowers during the spring and summer time.  I must go back to this place.

It's Sat and the temp is 56 degrees.  It is so nice outside.  I took a ride and ended up at a pond called Hook Pond.  There was lots of cars parked and so I decided to check it out.  It's a two mile hike around the pond on level ground.  A zillion people were walking enjoying the weather and the scenery.  Bike riders, dog walkers and just walkers.  All enjoying the day.  I found this group of white birch trees and thought it was pretty.  I took lots of pictures.

This was a great pond to walk around.  They had swans swimming with the Canadian Geese.

Another Ozzie day.  On Fridays, I get Oz at noon time.  Then at 2 we have to go pick up his sister and take her to Science Club for Girls.  Then we go home.  It was a nice day and so Oz and I went out to the park at the school to play.  Get all the extra energies out.  He got a little cold so we sat in my car and had our snack.  Then back out to play.  He loves the swings.

I love this picture of him.  He is so happy and he looks just like his mommy.

March 4, 2010

Well off to New Hampshire.  We are having snow/rain mix.  Not bad out at all.  I visited my friend, Judy, and we went to lunch and then to a jewelry place to sell some of her old jewelry.  It was a great experience.  I have never done anything like that before.

People always hate you taking their pictures.  Why is that?   I know when I see photo's of myself I generally don't like them, but since doing scrapbooking, I have come to realize that those are pictures of me, good or bad.  I guess we can always find fault with our own pictures.  I like this one of my friend.
We were at here house getting ready to go out to eat.

March 3, 2010

Today is Ozzie day.  I have him from 9 am until 3 to 6. depending on Mommy's schedule.  We have so much fun together.  He insist that I play with him.  He got all the Beanie Babies out and I had to play with him.  His imagination is awesome.

He was handing me Chilly the polar bear and Humphrey the Camel to play with.  He had the Rhinosorus, Spike.  We had to play on my bed so he could bounce around on it.

Spring is in the air.  My crocuses are popping up.  Yeah.

March 1, 2010

Well I guess sit was bound to happen.  I missed a few days.  Stayed in the house most of the time because of the weather.  But here it is the first of March and we have a decent day.  Went and had a colonoscopy done in the morning and Scott went and picked up Jay at school.  When she got here, I showed her how to do some knitting on the round wheel thing.  Here is a picture of her being silly and checking to see if it will fit her head.

I thought she was doing pretty good but she tired of it and so Grandma had to finish it at a later date.

February 25, 2010

Thursday oh Thursday.  I usually go to my friend's home in New Hampshire or she comes down here but the weather is not cooperating today.  So I stayed inside and knitted.  I am working on a new baby blanket.

February 24, 2010

My two black cats.  Hannah has claimed the top of the couch as her spot but Joey got there first, so she had to lie on the couch below him.  Usually Joey doesn't even bother to come in the living room at all.  Joey is actually a silver tip cat.  He looks black but only the top layer is black, every thing underneath this layer is silver.  Hannah is totally black.  I adopted Joey at 5 mo., he is now 10.  He was as scared as could be and still  acts frightened of almost everything.  All the love we have given him, has not made him unafraid, except he does love us and does allow us to pet him and he will purr, but he is on guard, ready to run at the slightest move you make.  His first 5 mo. of life must of been a very traumatic time.  Hannah came to me at 4 wks of age and she too is 10 years old now.  She was bottled fed and weaned and thinks that I am a mother cat.  They both make great photo subjects and with my new camera, I get better pictures.

Joey hates his picture to be taken.  He looks very annoyed here.

March 7th, I will back track and put my pictures in

Ok now I am getting behind.  I am taking the pictures but not getting them posted.  LOL.  So I will get cracken before I forget what the pictures mean.  LOL>
